We have been working with the contracted vendor on this project since late January, and as you may know we experienced an almost catastrophic winter event that embolized service and material suppliers. Since the pool required much of the material to be ordered and shipped, delays were experienced until more materials became available. The work commenced again as soon as the materials were made available and the vendor is doing their best to complete the work in addition to many other commitments behind schedule due to material shortages. At the Recommendation of State and Local Authorities in Conjunction with Shelter in Place Orders Issued by the Texas State Governor and adhering to Social Distancing Guidelines, until further notice all Playgrounds, Sports Courts and any other like Facility will be Closed.
Local Authorities are taking this matter seriously and failure to comply with any executive order issued during the COVD-19 disaster is an offense punishable by a fine not to exceed $1,000, confinement in jail for a term not to exceed 180 days, or both fine and confinement.
In an effort to contain this Pandemic we are asking you to do your part and not congregate in the Common Areas. Access to these areas will be permitted as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience this may pose in the meantime, but the only intent is to ensure the Health and Safety of our Homeowners.

The (Covid-19) virus has affected us all in some way however, Essex Association Management would like to announce that it remains open for business and prepared to continue to provide services as usual. For the safety of our Essex staff, in-office visits to our offices have been suspended however, our main line is still operational as is all other services Essex provides.
To help slow the spread of the virus, all meetings and gatherings have been cancelled and all amenity centers have been closed through April 30, 2020, or until further notice. Essex will send out e-mail blasts to its residents as new information on rescheduling meetings or reopening amenities is made available. If you have not registered on your Association’s website, please do so today to ensure you will receive updates when they are sent. All web-based services remain fully operational and available for use and are worked in the order they are received. Keep Fireworks on your own property. Fireworks are prohibited on any common area. Do not forget to place a bucket of water nearby in case of emergency. Please clean up all litter associated with your fireworks. Once you’ve lit the fuse, move away immediately. In case the firework did not light properly, douse it with water and do not attempt to relight it. Please keep fireworks to the day of the holiday only. End your fireworks by no later than 10pm. Effective September 1, 2016, The Board of Directors chose to amend the Collection Policy for Travis Ranch HOA to include verbiage which will allow the Association to send delinquent account information for Credit Reporting. This information can be located under Section 9 on page 3 of the new policy. On October 4, 2016 every homeowner was either mailed or emailed a letter explaining the new Collection Policy as well as a copy of the Policy. The Travis Ranch pool is currently closed due to contamination. We continue to be diligent about the residents health and will need to close the pool on 6/10 and will re-open the pool on 6/11 at 12pm. In order for the pool to filter and regain normal/safe chemical levels, the pool must be closed.

There was a temporary delay on Rains County Rd. due to the recent rain storms. Work will begin shortly (the next day or so) to repair and place concrete in 2nd portion. We will have lab break cylinders early in as an effort to release roadway. After completion of paving, roadways will be sawed and sealed.

Heads up on Rains County Rd.:
Road repair is scheduled to begin on Rains County Rd. now on Monday the 9th, barring weather delays.
This schedule was moved up just recently and that is appreciated. The MUD informs us that the work may take as long as 60 days and will cause some temporary inconvenience to travel and parking.

As you know we have received a considerable amount of rain over the past two months which has caused standing water in many areas throughout the Dallas and Fort Worth areas. As a precautionary measure, the Board of Directors has decided to have the Travis Ranch community fogged for mosquitoes. The Board feels that taking this step will be of great benefit for the health and safety of its residents and appreciates your cooperation during the fogging process. The first fogging will take place on Monday, June 22nd, weather permitting.

Neighbors found a gray and white bunny Friday evening (May 16) in their front yard. If you are missing a bunny please call Wynee at 972-955-2299. It will be taken to the Forney Animal Hospital to see if it has a chip or if they have any knowledge on it's owner. In the meantime, it has received very good care.

A fellow homeowner in the Travis Ranch community lost their dog (Allie) on Thursday morning (May 15). Allie is a Miniature Schnauzer in desperate need of a trim.
