Rains County Road Repair Update

Published: November 23, 2015

Dear Homeowners,

Sorry for any confusion to this date. Below is the schedule for Rains County Road repairs. Today a decision was made to insure one lane we be left open during construction. See below for a detailed time line, weather permitting.

    • Crushed rock is being installed to allow 1 lane of westbound traffic only by end of day Monday, 11/23. This should only be utilized by Emergency Services, Trash Pick-up, and residents whose driveways are affected by the construction.

    • Tuesday, 11/24 – Prep ground for Concrete Pour.

    • Pour south half (portion) of Rains County Road on Wednesday, 11/25 before the rain event on Thanksgiving.

    • South half (portion) needs 7 days of “cure time” before cars are allowed to drive on it.

    • Beginning Thursday 12/3 (allowing 7 days of cure time), contractor will begin removal of flex base and continue with improvements on the north side of Rains County Rd.

    • Pour north half (portion) of Rains County Road during the week of 12/7. Cars will be allowed to drive on Rains County Road 7 days later during the week of 12/14.

There will be no street parking during construction; parking will only be allowed in driveways. Emergency services ,USPS, and UPS and FEDEX will be able to deliver. All lots east of Grimes Dr are requested to use an alternate route during construction.

A full set of plans will be posted on the web site at www.travisranchhoa.com. Please pass this on to your neighbors because not everyone has registered their email address with us.
