Essex Management Closed: In observation of the Martin Luther King holiday, Essex Management will be closed on Monday, January 15, 2024. The After-Hours number is
Potential for Inclement Weather: From Sunday, January 15 – Wednesday, January 17th the temperature will not go above freezing. We suggest the following to prepare your home:
Cover delicate vegetation with breathable fabrics (not plastic as it will cause condensation to freeze beneath)
Disconnect all hoses and cover outdoor faucets with hose bibs
Leave all interior faucets on exterior walls dripping (both hot and cold) and consider leaving cabinets doors open so they are warmed from air within the room
Ensure your plumbing cut-off valve is accessible just in case a pipe bursts
Check open flues in fireplace for functionality and prior to lighting – annual inspections are best
Check/replace batteries in thermostat, carbon monoxide and smoke detectors
Ensure you have three days of water supply in case of pipes freezing
Cat litter or Rock Salt be spread on walkways in case of icing
Dog park opening - pushed out: Due to the freezing conditions we are moving the Dog Park opening to January 26, 2024 as it will be warmer that week. We will have hot chocolate, treats for humans and fur babies; mobile grooming introductions; mobile vet for vaccinations; and dogs for adoption.
Sports Court: WE ARE OPEN!!! Paxton App access allows entrance through the turnstile.
Holiday Decorations: Will need to be taken down/stored until next year – by January 31, 2024.
Repairs to Entrance Wall on Travis Ranch Boulevard: Demolition will begin on Monday, January 15th- weather permitting. The demolition of the first section will take two weeks, then it will move section by section for each home affected. The staging area will be in the common area in front of the repairs. Disposal trucks will be parked on TRB during the day only.
Project Schedule Weather Permitting:
• 1020 Bend Court: 1/15/2024 to 1/31/2024
• 1018 Bend Court: 2/1/2024 to 2/8/2024
• 1016 Bend Court: 2/9/2024 to 2/16/2024
• 1014 Bend Court: 2/19/2024 to 2/2/26/2024
• 1012 Bend Court: 2/27/2024 to 3/5/2024
Second Pool Update: The fencing is presently being installed as well as the tile inside the pool.
Raines County Road: The road is two-thirds poured and should be completed at the intersection of Grimes by the end of the month. Norias and Callahan cracks/dips will be completed by the end of February.
Trash/Bulk/Recycling: All trash days will remain as previously scheduled. Bulk/Recycling (A/B days are listed on the calendar) gain an extra week. This schedule will be posted on the www.TravisRanchHoa.com website.
