This Week at Travis Ranch

The following projects have been completed this week in the Community:
• Travis Board of Directors Roles: Shawn Currie – President, Liaison for Dog Park Committee; Isaiah Brown – Vice President, Liaison for Social/Teen; Kim Shimpo – Secretary, Liaison for Dog Park Committee; Andy Little – Treasurer, Liaison – Advisory Committee; Casey Page – Liaison for Sports Committee
• New Committees are up for discussion and approval: Welcome Committee, Landscape Committee and Communications Committee – VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
• The Sports Court transition between top of turnstile and slanted roof has been completed
• The Sports Court Fencing has been secured at the base
• Cameras (solar) have been installed at Valera / Weeson park
• Installation of new benches, dog stations and trash cans in the newer areas of the community are being installed this weekend
• Fence pickets from Concan to Mule Deer have been secured on the North side
• Conduit has been installed at San Marcos Drive in preparation for the upcoming stop light
• Sunnyside Drive in Fieldcrest is temporarily closed due to construction on Hwy 80 Service Road
• Unauthorized vehicle fines are increasing with the first fine beginning at $250, second at $500 and the third, as well as consecutive at $1000
• For compliance, one tree is required in each yard. A minimum three-inch diameter tree (as measured six (s) inches from the ground) anywhere in the front/side/bed of the yard is compliant.
Up next:
• Secure fence pickets along Travis Ranch Boulevard continuing to Sage Brush on north side and gate between Concan and Mule Deer that houses the main meter need repair. Then the South side from the Atmos greenspace to Bend Court will be repaired.
• Quarterly, night drive to review all streetlights / monument lighting, etc. scheduled for of May 16th
• Choose vendor(s) for Teen Section, 740 Fencing Repair/Replace and Pour and Play for the main playground
