This week at Travis Ranch: 6-7-24

What a week-last week and this – no more rain please! We hope that everyone has weathered the storms with minimal damage! If you have shared fence damage, please reach out to your neighbors to share the cost, if possible. Charmaine, our Community Association Manager can assist with connecting you to neighbors via email (if they are in the system and approve to share their contact info.) if you cannot make contact on your own. charmaine@essexhoa.com

The following projects have been completed this week in the Community:

    • Republic Trash will continue Bulk service on established dates for storm damage, but may increase pick-ups (we will keep you posted)
    • TRASH CANS WILL NOT BE PICKED UP IF LIDS DO NOT CLOSE (they have an automated system and cannot pick up bags/trash that falls out of the cans onto the street) this is year-round
    • If you need another can or have other issues with pick ups, please email Tiffany Delgado at Republic Services tdelgado2@republicservices.com she is our Travis Ranch Rep
    • STORM DAMAGE REPAIRS:
    • All but one fallen tree has been cleared from the storm damage on Bend Court
    • They are still clearing limbs from various areas in the community, but should have everything cleaned up by next week
    • Smaller trees which were blown over are being up righted in hopes of saving them
    • Several sections of fencing on 740 have been approved for repair (Hartley to New Braunfels). We will emails homeowners on timing, one scheduled
    Community Wide Garage Sale is RESCHEDULED for the weekend of June 28-30
    • Volunteers have stepped up for the Welcome, and Landscaping Committees! We are very thankful for all who have even the slightest bit of time to help make the community a great place to live! We can still use more help for the Sports, Communication as well as the Teen/Social Committees – VOLUNTEERS NEEDED (email or Committee Volunteer Form (travisranchhoa.com))
    • All of the benches and the trash can installations were completed last week. If you would like a bench, trash can or dog station somewhere in your area, please email Charmaine. We will add some to the Governors lots along Lake Ray Hubbard once the building is completed.
    • The stop light at San Marcos Drive has been installed and MUD will test in June and fully turn on in July
    Sunnyside Drive in Fieldcrest is temporarily closed due to construction on Hwy 80 Service Road
    Summer Splash has been announced for June 8th from 11-2pm and signage has been placed throughout the community (REGISTER FOR WATER BALLOONS) or check the website https://travisranchhoa.com/ for more details
    • TR monument sign was rehung at Silsbee Court
    • A Lost & Found bin and ash/coal bins (by grills) have been added at the main pool
    • Pavers have been added to the entrance at the large dog park due to ponding, as well as between the street and sidewalk

Up next:

    • 2nd Pool is awaiting the plaster being poured and they are behind due to storms, so hopefully three more weeks
    • Gate housing the TR transformer at Concan and TR Blvd will be repaired
    • Paint removal: Red handprints on the monument wall at Grimes and TR Blvd will be removed, paint on the bleachers in the Sports Court and “mom” on the slide from the main playground
    • Choose vendor(s) for 740 Fencing Repair/Replace and Pour and Play for the main playground
    • Streetlights (17) will be repaired by Oncor, FEC and our electrical team – have had added 4 others due to storm damage and the companies are behind due to the storm
    • Vendor has been chosen for Teen section and work begins in June
    • Electric is completed for the Teen Section and construction will begin around June 23rd (South corner of Common Area at 1000 San Antonio Drive) there will be two covered picnic tables, two trash cans and two charging stations surrounded by a small fence on the backside and crushed granite under the tables
