This week at Travis Ranch: 6/28/24

Published: June 28, 2024

TO PREVENT POTENTAIL FIRES: WE WOULD LIKE SUPPORT ON NOT ALLOWING ANY FIREWORKS IN THE COMMUNITY DUE TO STORM DAMAGE TO ROOFS – REMAINING DEBRIS OF FENCING AND BRUSH.

COMMUNITY GARAGE SALE IS THIS WEEKEND!!!

The following projects were completed this week in the Community:

    • REMINDER: If you are not on the “grandfathered” list approved for leasing, you may not lease your property. We reached our 10% leasing cap in August of 2020. Leasing sites are monitored daily to violated any unauthorized rentals.
    • STORM DAMAGE – BULK PICK UP/TREES and FENCING
Fencing is not considered construction debris, and Republic will collect it if:
    • It’s within the 4 cubic yard range (4 washing machines next to each other)
    • The nails are removed or hammered down (we have had many Helpers get punctured by nails!)
    • Ideally, they should be bundled
    • Not blocked by vehicles. (even with our Helper being able to walk around cars, there is too much of a risk of damage to property and people will blame us all day every day if something happens to their cars)

TRASH CANS WILL NOT BE PICKED UP IF LIDS DO NOT CLOSE. If you need additional cans or have other issues with pick ups, please email Republic Services KaufmanMUD@republicservices.com or call 972-338-2523 for the local office.

    • We are working on discovering a plumbing leak which fills the pool and is causing a pressure loss in the pavilion (restrooms are slow). Please be mindful of the caution tape outside the pool.
    • The shower in the pool is being repaired
    • The stop light at San Marcos Drive is being turned on this weekend for testing
    • Sunnyside Drive in Fieldcrest is temporarily closed due to construction on Hwy 80 Service Road
    • We can still use more help for the Sports, Communication as well as the Teen/Social Committees – VOLUNTEERS NEEDED (email or Committee Volunteer Form (travisranchhoa.com)) The Teen and Sports Committees were developed to have fun events for kids during the summer in the Common Area
    • Paint removed: Paint on the bleachers in the Sports Court is now gone
    • The new dog park exercise toys were assembled and their places marked. They will be installed next week! THANK YOU to Isabel, Kasandra and Kim for all of your direction and assistance (Dog Park Committee)!

Up next:

    • No Commercial Vehicles, Speed signs will be added to all entrances by MUD; no solicitation signs at all entrances (HOA) and no overnight parking signs will be added on common areas (HOA)
    • Large potholes at Rio Bravo/Catalina and Coloma/ TR Blvd will be temporarily repaired with tar until a complete repair will be scheduled
    • 2nd Pool is awaiting the plaster being poured and they are behind due to storms, so hopefully three more weeks
    • Adult night is being planned at the pool for sometime in July
    • Gate housing the TR transformer at Concan and TR Blvd will be repaired
    • Vendor has been chosen for Teen section and work begins at the end of the summer due to the covered picnic tables being on back-order
    • Pour and Play rubberized base for the Main Playground will begin July 15th and the park will be closed for a week during the update.

Have a wonderful weekend!
