This week at Travis Ranch: 6/21/24

The following projects were completed this week in the Community:

    • REMINDER: If you are not on the “grandfathered” list approved for leasing, you may not lease your property. We reached our 10% leasing cap in August of 2020. Leasing sites are monitored daily to violated any unauthorized rentals.
    • TRASH CANS WILL NOT BE PICKED UP IF LIDS DO NOT CLOSE (they have an automated system and cannot pick up bags/trash that falls out of the cans onto the street) this is year-round
    • NOTE CONTACT INFORMATION HAS CHANGED: If you need additional cans or have other issues with pick ups, please email Republic Services KaufmanMUD@republicservices.com or call 972-338-2523 for the local office.
    • STORM DAMAGE REPAIRS: Fencing repairs starting at Hartley to New Braunfels has been completed
    • We are working on discovering a plumbing leak which fills the pool and is causing a pressure loss in the pavilion (restrooms are slow). Please be mindful of the caution tape outside the pool.
    • 740 fence replacement from Rains County to Silsbee will be completely replaced. Estimated start date on July 22nd.
    • Main Playground Pour and Play has been awarded to 365 Playground will take one week to complete and will begin July 15th.
    • The stop light at San Marcos Drive will be tested by MUD at the end of June and fully turn on in July
    • Sunnyside Drive in Fieldcrest is temporarily closed due to construction on Hwy 80 Service Road
    • Community Wide Garage Sale is RESCHEDULED for the weekend of June 28-30
    • We can still use more help for the Sports, Communication as well as the Teen/Social Committees – VOLUNTEERS NEEDED (email or Committee Volunteer Form (travisranchhoa.com)) The Teen and Sports Committees were developed to have fun events for kids during the summer in the Common Area
    • Paint removed: Red handprints on the monument wall at Grimes and TR Blvd will be removed (will need another pass), paint on the bleachers in the Sports Court and “mom” on the slide from the main playground
    • We have ordered a new Spring Rider school bus for the main park to replace the Zebra that ran away (see below). This will be installed after the pour and play is completed at the main playground.
    • The new dog park exercise toys have been shipped and will be installed as soon as we receive them!
    • New mailbox cluster communication was posted: “Stay Informed”

Up next:

    • No Commercial Vehicles, Speed signs will be added to all entrances by MUD; no solicitation signs at all entrances (HOA) and no overnight parking signs will be added on common areas (HOA)
    • Large potholes at Rio Bravo/Catalina and Coloma/ TR Blvd will be temporarily repaired with tar until a complete repair will be scheduled
    • 2nd Pool is awaiting the plaster being poured and they are behind due to storms, so hopefully three more weeks
    • Adult night is being planned at the pool for sometime in July
    • Gate housing the TR transformer at Concan and TR Blvd will be repaired
    • Vendor has been chosen for Teen section and work begins at the end of the summer due to the covered picnic tables being on back-order
    • Electric is completed for the Teen Section (South corner of Common Area at 1000 San Antonio Drive) there will be two covered picnic tables, two trash cans and two charging stations surrounded by a small fence on the backside and decomposed granite under the tables
